Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK) now offers compatibility for Apache Kafka version 3.3.2 for both existing and new clusters. This version features a number of bug fixes and performance optimizations, including fetching from the nearest replica and metrics. Even though Zookeeper is still used and managed by Amazon MSK for quorum management, there are a variety of other improvements and bug fixes included in this release.
