Amazon Elastic Container Services (Amazon ECS) has provided a new capability that enables customers to delete inactive task definition revisions either programmatically or using the Amazon ECS console. This feature makes it easier for customers to manage their resources and enhance their security by permanently deleting task definition revisions that are not needed or contain undesirable configurations.
